Support customization
We provide a variety of polyurethane foaming molds suitable for different process requirements. Mold types include steel molds, aluminum molds, and resin molds, which can be flexibly selected according to product complexity, production scale, and service life requirements. Steel molds have a stable structure and strong pressure resistance, suitable for large-scale industrial production; aluminum molds have excellent thermal conductivity and processing accuracy, and are widely used in fields with high molding efficiency requirements such as automotive seats and furniture; resin molds have low costs and short cycles, suitable for sample development, small batch customization, or special-shaped parts production. We can provide one-stop services such as mold development, flow channel design, heating and temperature control according to customer product design and foaming process.
Steel Mold
Steel molds are the preferred mold solution for producing high-performance microcellular foam products due to their excellent strength, dimensional stability, and resistance to high pressure and temperature. These molds are usually made of hardened tool steel and are designed for long-term, high-precision production environments.
The microcellular foaming process requires dense polyurethane or elastomer materials with a fine and uniform cell structure, and steel molds ensure tight tolerances, uniform heat distribution, and excellent surface finish. Steel molds can withstand high injection pressures and high-temperature curing without deformation, making them ideal for producing parts with extremely high structural integrity and surface quality requirements.
-
High strength, good pressure resistance, suitable for high foaming pressure process
-
Long service life, up to hundreds of thousands of times, suitable for large-scale continuous production
-
Support complex structure processing, strong rigidity, not easy to deform
-
Suitable for high-strength molding needs of industrial products such as hard foam and elastomers
Aluminum Mold
Aluminum molds are precision-engineered tooling components widely used in polyurethane (PU) molding, thermoforming, injection molding, and composite manufacturing. Known for their excellent thermal conductivity, lightweight structure, and high dimensional accuracy, aluminum molds are ideal for both prototyping and mass production applications.
Compared to traditional steel molds, aluminum molds offer faster heating and cooling cycles, enabling increased production efficiency and energy savings. They are easier to machine, reducing tooling lead time and cost. Modern aluminum alloys used in mold production provide good wear resistance, corrosion protection, and compatibility with automated demolding systems.
-
Excellent thermal conductivity, fast heating, short demoulding time, improved production efficiency
-
Lightweight material, high processing accuracy, suitable for product molding with rich details
-
Easy to repair and modify, suitable for production lines with rapid switching of multiple varieties
-
Suitable for soft foam products (such as seats, headrests) and high-rebound foam molding
Resin Molds
Resin molds are custom-shaped tooling made from high-strength casting resins, widely used for low-pressure molding, prototyping, and small to medium-volume production. These molds are lightweight, cost-effective, and easy to fabricate, making them ideal for short-run polyurethane (PU) foam products and elastomer casting.
Compared to metal molds, resin molds offer faster turnaround, reduced tooling costs, and sufficient mechanical strength for moderate production use. They can accurately reproduce complex geometries, surface textures, and fine details, making them a practical solution for applications that do not require long-term mold durability.
-
Short production cycle, low mold development cost, suitable for rapid proofing and small and medium-sized batch production
-
Strong adaptability, can quickly replicate complex surfaces and personalized designs
-
Light weight, easy to carry and adjust, suitable for manual infusion, small foaming line use
-
Usually used for non-structural foam parts or temporary mold applications
Application of Steel Mold
Steel molds have high strength and good sealing properties, making them very suitable for the integral skin foaming process. They can ensure that the product surface is dense, has clear contours, is wear-resistant and stain-resistant under high-pressure injection conditions, and are widely used in the following scenarios:
PU armrests
Office chairs, industrial armrests, medical equipment hand rests, etc., with smooth and durable surfaces and comfortable touch
Headrests/neck pillows
Headrests for cars, airplanes, and massage chairs, with good support and no need to cover the surface
Airport seats
Not easily deformed after long-term use, with an integrated appearance, meeting the high-frequency use requirements of public seats
Application of Aluminum Mold
Aluminum molds are particularly suitable for soft foam and elastomer products with high requirements for foaming speed and surface details due to their good thermal conductivity and processing accuracy, and are commonly found in:
Automobile seats Foam
Foaming of the main driver’s seat, co-driver’s seat and rear seat cushions to improve riding comfort and safety
Pillow products
High rebound and slow rebound memory pillows, stable molding and exquisite details
PU soles
Injection molding of sports shoes, labor protection shoes and slippers, light and wear-resistant, suitable for large-scale continuous production
Application of Resin Molds
Resin molds have a short production cycle, low cost, and can quickly replicate complex textures. They are ideal for low-pressure, room-temperature manual foaming and are widely used in decoration and construction fields:
PU cronice lines
European-style wall decoration lines, door frames, ceiling strips, etc., with realistic imitation stone and wood effects
Faux stones
Wall tiles, antique slates, garden landscape decorations, with the advantages of light weight and easy installation
