Rigid polyurethane foam is a high-performance closed-cell material known for its superior thermal insulation, dimensional stability and compressive strength. Unlike flexible foams, rigid foam retains its shape under load and has low thermal conductivity, making it ideal for thermal insulation and structural applications. It is widely used in construction (wall, roof and pipe insulation), refrigeration (cold panels, cold storage walls), industrial equipment and sandwich panels.

Rigid foam can be produced in a variety of densities and formulations, including flame retardant, water-blown and environmentally friendly. It has excellent adhesion to substrates such as metal, plastic and wood, and can be applied by injection, spraying or continuous sheet production.
